Terms of service
These terms cover your use of the BoothLoop software and of boothloop.com, including the free beta and the paid license that follows it. They are written in plain language for photo booth owners. By joining the beta or installing BoothLoop, you agree to them.
How does the BoothLoop beta work?
During the beta, BoothLoop is free. Beta software is provided as-is: it may have bugs, and features may change, be removed, or be discontinued during the beta. Test BoothLoop before you rely on it at a paid event, and keep your booth software's own output as your record of the event.
Beta access ends when the beta ends. At that point BoothLoop may stop working on beta installs. The end date will be announced by email to beta users.
What does the paid license cover?
After the beta, beta users can buy a 1-year BoothLoop license for $29.99 USD per year. The license includes updates and support while it is active. Licensing details for multiple booths will be announced before the beta ends. See the BoothLoop pricing page for the current offer.
How may you use BoothLoop?
You may use BoothLoop to show photos and videos at your events. You agree not to:
- copy, resell or redistribute the software, or share your access with others;
- reverse engineer it or remove any notices, except where the law allows;
- use it to display content you do not have the right to show, or content that is unlawful;
- interfere with boothloop.com or submit false or automated beta signups.
You are responsible for the photos shown on your booth and for having your clients' and guests' permission to display them.
Trademarks
ICON is a trademark of Everybooth. LumaBooth and dslrBooth are trademarks of their owners. BoothLoop is independent software and is not affiliated with, made for, or endorsed by Everybooth or Lumasoft. Other product names are used only to describe compatibility.
Limits of liability
BoothLoop is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for lost profits, lost bookings, lost data, or indirect damages arising from your use of BoothLoop or boothloop.com. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for BoothLoop in the 12 months before the claim. During the free beta, that amount is zero.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The new version is posted on this page with a new effective date, and material changes are emailed to beta users. Questions go to hello@boothloop.com. How we handle your data is covered in the privacy policy.
